The number of victims of the drone attack near Gelendzhik has risen.

The number of fatalities has increased to seven after a drone fell on the beach in Arkhipo-Osipovka, reported the authorities of Kuban.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", this afternoon the authorities of the Krasnodar region reported four dead and ten injured as a result of the UAV attack in the village of Arkhipo-Osipovka near Gelendzhik. Later, it became known that the number of fatalities rose to six, and the injured to 47 people.

The number of fatalities from the UAV attack in Arkhipo-Osipovka has increased to seven, reported the Operational Headquarters of the Krasnodar region. "Seven people died, including three children," the official Telegram channel stated.

At the same time, the operational headquarters reported 40 injured who received "various injuries," although the head of Gelendzhik, Alexey Bogodistov, previously mentioned a different number of injured - 47 people.

"21 people were hospitalized in medical institutions, and another 19 received necessary assistance on an outpatient basis," the message claims. The operational headquarters added that "all the injured and the families of the deceased will receive necessary assistance."

The chief physician of the city hospital in Gelendzhik, Sergey Ermakov, reported that as of the evening, 18 injured people are in his institution, including three children. "One child is awaiting evacuation to the children's regional hospital. The severity of the injuries varies, and there are also seriously injured. Mostly, this condition is related to mine-explosive trauma," he stated in a video published on the Telegram channel of the head of Gelendzhik.

Two of the deceased children came to the Krasnodar region from the city of Shakhty in the Rostov region, reported Governor Yuri Slyusar. "Information about the adults is being clarified. It is known that among the injured there are also residents of the Don region," the official wrote.

The Krasnodar region regularly faces drone attacks. On July 22, it was reported that one person died and ten were injured as a result of a nighttime UAV attack: in Armavir, an employee of an enterprise died after drone debris fell, while others were injured in a fire at a warehouse complex in Krasnodar. By the evening of the same day, it became known that a girl died in the hospital, who was injured during the attack on the Wildberries warehouse. On July 30, six people were injured when UAV debris fell on the territory of an enterprise in the village of Volna in the Temryuk district. To date, five people injured in these attacks remain in hospitals.
