The number of victims of the UAV attack in Volgograd has increased.

During the debris removal after the drone attack at the site of a residential building in the Krasnoarmeysky district of Volgograd, the body of a woman was found. Eight injured people have been hospitalized.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", as a result of the UAV attack on the night of July 30 to 31, five people were hospitalized, an apartment building and a private residence in Volgograd were damaged. Fires were recorded at an industrial enterprise of the fuel and energy complex.

After the drone attack at the site of a residential building in Volgograd, the body of a woman was found, and eight injured people have been hospitalized, reported the press service of the Volgograd region administration on their Telegram channel, citing Governor Andrey Bocharov.

"Unfortunately, as a result of today's attack, there is a fatality. During the debris removal at the site of a residential building on Bulatkina Street in the Krasnoarmeysky district of Volgograd, a woman was found. According to updated data, eight injured people have been hospitalized, two of whom are in serious condition. All the injured are receiving all necessary assistance," the press service quoted the governor.

Andrey Bocharov, who commented early in the morning on the massive strike on Volgograd, reported a fire in warehouse premises in the Dzerzhinsky district. After some time, an official message from the online retailer Wildberries appeared. The company confirmed that their warehouse in Volgograd caught fire as a result of the attack, reports the Volgograd publication "Vysota 102".

"Due to the attack on the company's logistics facility in Volgograd, a fire occurred. Fire crews are working on site. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties," the company's press service informed.

As a result of the attack, there was a disruption of flights at Volgograd airport: flight restrictions over the city were in effect for almost seven hours, and on the morning of July 31, there were mass delays of flights at the airport. A total of 16 flights to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yerevan, and back were affected by the schedule disruption.

The Volgograd city administration reported that as a result of the attack, the glazing of eight apartment buildings in the Traktorozavodsky district was damaged.

"For the duration of the emergency services' work, a temporary accommodation point was quickly opened for residents on the territory of school No. 1. The municipal transport enterprise provided large-capacity buses to transport residents to the temporary accommodation center. Sleeping places and hot meals have been organized for them at the temporary accommodation points. Currently, there are no residents at the temporary accommodation center," the city administration's message stated.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that on May 29, as a result of a nighttime attack by unmanned aerial vehicles at a synthetic fiber plant in Volzhsky, a man was killed, and a woman received serious injuries. Another person was injured when debris from a UAV fell on a residential building in Volgograd.
