Queues for gasoline and diesel fuel formed this morning, July 31, after a massive drone attack on the districts of Volgograd and a fire at the Wildberries factory and logistics center, V1 reports.

"Today I drove through two districts of Volgograd. I saw no closed gas stations, no visible restrictions on fuel dispensing. However, queues at the operating gas stations have reappeared. This is exactly the case where the problem can be created by our own hands instead of being calmly endured. We just went through one wave of fuel shortages. Literally in a week or ten days, the situation normalized: queues disappeared, fuel companies lifted restrictions, gas stations returned to normal operation. And now the same story is happening again. Yes, the incident at our oil refinery is unpleasant. Yes, the situation in the country is complicated, and similar problems arise not only for us. But if we start to panic and fill up "for reserve", siphon gasoline into canisters, and occupy queues at every gas station again, we will quickly return to the beginning of the month," he wrote in his Telegram channel "Listen-Listen".

The problem has also been acknowledged by officials.

"The situation in the fuel market in the Volgograd region is stable. There are sufficient fuel reserves in the region. However, there is currently increased demand at the region's gas stations. Specialists ask not to fill up in advance and not to create a panic. The relevant departments of the regional administration, in cooperation with the Federal Antimonopoly Service in the Volgograd region, continue to monitor the state of the fuel market," the regional energy committee stated.

The publication "Height 102" reported that the queues are small.

"Rosneft", "Lukoil", and Teboil are operating as usual. There is, as before, AI-92, AI-95, and diesel fuel available. The longest queue, consisting of about twenty cars, formed at the gas station on Pakhomenko Street. Some drivers admitted that they decided to fill up on gasoline for reserve after the nighttime drone attack, saying that having a full tank makes them feel more secure. Others noted that they are going out of town for the weekend, which is why they came to refuel. At other locations, depending on the number of pumps, refueling takes from five minutes," the publication states.
