The official from Buynaksk has been suspended from office at the request of the investigation.

The court temporarily suspended the head of the administration of Buynaksk, suspected of fraud using his official position and service forgery.

The Buynaksk City Court granted the investigator's request for the temporary suspension of the suspect from the position of head of the administration of the urban district. The Investigative Committee is examining the case, in which the official is suspected of fraud using his official position and service forgery (part 3 of article 159 and part 1 of article 292 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

According to the investigation, the suspect, being the head of the department of architecture, urban planning, and property-land relations of the urban district, included false information about completed internal works in official offices in municipal contracts and acceptance acts, after which he embezzled 112,691 rubles of budget funds.

The court, having considered the investigator's request, suspended the suspect from his position during the investigation, concluding that, while retaining access to the managerial position, he could continue illegal activities, exert pressure on witnesses and other participants in the process, or destroy evidence, the United Press Service of the courts of Dagestan reported today.
