In Dagestan, traffic has been restored on 10 sections of roads damaged during the downpour, and communication has been restored with 46 settlements. Access to another 53 settlements is still limited.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", as of July 10, due to the rains in Dagestan, 56 villages were cut off from transport communication.

The Ministry of Transport of Dagestan reported on July 11 about the restoration of traffic on 10 sections of roads damaged by the rains. According to the agency, this has allowed the resumption of transport communication with 46 settlements, reports RIA "Novosti".

The ministry reported that due to bad weather, 34 sections of roads and bridge structures were damaged, and 99 settlements were left without transport communication. Thus, after the first stage of restoration work, restrictions remain for 53 settlements in seven districts.

It should be noted that in a number of districts of Dagestan, as a result of heavy precipitation that fell on July 7-8, flooding, road and bridge washouts occurred. Thus, residents of 13 houses in the village of Majalis in the Kaytag district were evacuated due to damage to the dam. About 30 people were evacuated in the village of Tashkapur in the Levashinsky district due to the river overflowing its banks. In the Gergebil district, residents of 50 houses were evacuated, in the village of Kikuni a farm was flooded, more than 130 sheep and 24 cows died.
