Villagers in the Myasnikovsky District complained about the water supply issue.

Residents of the village of Krasny Krym in the Myasnikovsky District of the Rostov Region complained that there has been no water in their homes for a week, and officials cannot provide a timeline for its restoration.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", residents of the Rostov Region periodically complain about water supply and water quality issues. Moreover, back in September 2022, the Rostov Rospotrebnadzor recognized the poor quality of drinking water in the region. In most cities and districts of the region, drinking water does not meet sanitary-chemical, microbiological, or parasitological standards, and in some areas, it fails to meet several at once, the agency noted.

A complaint from one of the residents of the village of Krasny Krym in the Myasnikovsky District about the prolonged lack of water was published today by the "Bloknot Rostov-on-Don".

A resident of the village explained that there has been no water in his house and the houses of his neighbors for six days. Officials promise to resolve the water supply issue, but there are no results. Families have small children and elderly people.

A video attached to the publication shows a kitchen sink and a faucet. The author of the video turned on the faucet, but no water flowed from it.

Authorities and relevant services cannot provide accurate information on why there is no water and when its supply will resume, another resident of the village told "Rostov-on-Don Online" today.

"Every day, people are told that the water supply will be restored by evening, that water has already started flowing, that they just need to wait a little longer. But morning comes, and the taps are dry again. These promises are repeated day after day," he said.

The villager added that none of the responsible organizations provide comments on the actual timeline for resolving the issue. People "do not understand how much longer they will have to live without water," he emphasized.

The administration of the Myasnikovsky District reported on the delivery of water. "Water supply has been partially restored. However, there is no water in the upper parts of the village due to low pressure in the network. Employees of the Municipal Unitary Enterprise "Myasnikovskoye VKH" are working on resolving the issue. The situation remains under control. Water delivery to residents is carried out regularly," the message published on the district administration's page on the social network "VKontakte" said.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that in 2021, Rostovvodokanal reported that the quality of water in Rostov-on-Don had become the worst in 20 years of observations. The organization linked the deterioration of water quality to pollution in the Don River.
