Five houses in the Kulinsky district were declared uninhabitable after the snowfall.

The commission inspected 59 houses in the Kulinsky District of Dagestan, which were damaged as a result of heavy snowfall. Five houses have been declared uninhabitable, and 54 houses require major repairs.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," in early April, high-mountain villages in Dagestan, including those in the Kulinsky District, were hit by heavy snowfalls, which left them virtually cut off from the outside world. Houses were damaged by the weather, and in the village of Kuli, a landslide destroyed a farm, which was completely buried underground.

Representatives of the Dagestan Ministry of Property arrived on a working visit to the Kulinsky District, where they assessed residential premises and determined the need for restoration work in houses damaged by heavy snowfall in early April, RIA "Dagestan" reported on May 17.

According to Deputy Minister of Property Emil Tatayev, 59 homes. Following the inspection, five homes were deemed unfit for habitation, and another 54 require major repairs.

As a reminder, floods caused by heavy rains began in the North Caucasus at the end of March, and they became some of the most destructive in recent years.
