Three soldiers from Dagestan were killed in Ukraine.

Magomed Isbagiev, Gadzhimurad Dalgatov, and Arip Kuraev were killed in combat. Since the beginning of the Russian operation in Ukraine, authorities have officially acknowledged at least 1,912 Dagestani servicemen killed there.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," by May 1, officials and security forces had named at least 1,909 fighters from Dagestan killed in Ukraine.

The names of three more Dagestani combatants killed in Ukraine were announced by the administration of the republic's Khunzakh District, which reported the unveiling of memorial plaques in the village of Samily.

The dead were Magomed Isbagiev, posthumously awarded the Order of Courage, Gadzhimurad Dalgatov, and Arip Kuraev, according to a statement from the municipal administration on April 30.

The officials' statement did not provide biographical information about the slain servicemen. According to information on the memorial plaques, all three were killed in 2025: Isbagiev in February at the age of 30, 32-year-old Dalgatov in January, and 33-year-old Kuraev in July.

According to a statement on the local school's VKontakte page, the unveiling ceremony for the memorial plaques in Samilakh took place on April 29.
