A soldier from South Ossetia was killed in Ukraine.

The funeral of Akhsar Dzhioyev, killed in the SVO zone, took place in Tskhinvali. In total, at least 51 combatants from South Ossetia were killed in the fighting in Ukraine.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," Alexander Kochiev was buried in Tskhinvali on April 14, becoming at least the 50th combatant from South Ossetia killed in the fighting in Ukraine.

Akhsar Dzhioev, call sign Dudu, who was killed in the zone of a special military operation, was buried in Tskhinvali on April 20, the state news agency "Res" reports.

Dzhioev was 29 years old and is survived by two children. He was awarded the "Defender of the Fatherland" medal (posthumously).

Thus, at least 51 fighters from South Ossetia have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation.
