As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," since the beginning of the Central Military Operation in Ukraine, authorities and security forces have recognized at least 1,867 fighters from Dagestan as killed.

Colonel Abdul Musayev, a native of the Akhtynsky District, was killed in a special military operation, the press service of the Akhtynsky District administration reported today on its Telegram channel. Attached to the message is a photograph showing Musayev, holding a box containing an award, with Dagestan's head, Sergei Melikov, embracing him.

The message does not provide details about the soldier's biography or the circumstances of his death.

Thus, at least 1,868 servicemen from Dagestan have been officially recognized as killed on the Ukrainian front. The "Caucasian Knot" maintains a list of names of natives of the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts killed in the military operation.
