Protesters on Rustaveli Square announced trips to Georgia's regions.

Activists from the Freedom Square party will visit Georgia's regions to inform residents about the country's problems and the reasons for the protests, the party leader announced on the 468th day of protests outside the Georgian parliament.

As "Caucasian Knot" reported, on March 9, the 467th day of continuous protests, students from Ilia State University held a protest march in Tbilisi against education reform, and participants in the protest outside the parliament supported their demands with posters.

Supporters of Georgia's European integration, carrying national and EU flags, gathered today on the pedestrian section of Rustaveli Avenue near the parliament building for the 468th consecutive day, Publika reports.

Protesters brought posters to the rally reading "Corruption has gnawed the country to the bone," "Eat porridge, love your mother, love Ukraine," "Women against the regime," "Treat women with special care - the Georgian police code of ethics," and "Freedom for a democratic Georgia," according to posts by photographer Mo Se and Georgian media on Facebook*.

Levan Tsutskiridze, leader of the political movement "Freedom Square," announced during a rally outside parliament that his party activists were planning trips to various regions of the country to educate Georgians about the reasons for the protests and political prisoners.

“Starting next week, we’ll be launching our nationwide campaign, ‘For the Heart of Georgia.’ Over the next few months, we’ll be traveling across Georgia to speak out about what we’ve been saying here for a long time: the truth about the protest on Rustaveli Street, why we’re on the streets, why we’re fighting. People are sitting innocently in prison, and we’ll convey this to every citizen of Georgia, wherever and however we can,” Netgazeti quoted him as saying during the protest.

Protesters in Georgia have been demanding new parliamentary elections and the release of political prisoners since November 28, 2024. Security forces have violently dispersed the protests, using tear gas and water cannons, and detained protesters. Thousands of people have been subjected to administrative prosecution during the protests.
