A Dagestani soldier was killed in the SVO zone.

Adilkhan Abdayev from Khasavyurt was killed in combat. Over the past four years, authorities have publicly named at least 1,827 Dagestani servicemen killed in Ukraine.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," by February 25, at least 1,826 Dagestani servicemen had been officially recognized as killed in the military operation in Ukraine.

A ceremony to present a state award to the family of Adilkhan Abdayev, a participant in the special military operation who died in the conflict, was held at the Khasavyurt mayor's office. The Mayor of Khasavyurt, Korgoli Korgoliev, presented the Medal for Courage to the soldier's family, the city administration announced today on Telegram.

Officials are not providing the age of the deceased or details of his biography.

Thus, at least 1,827 soldiers from Dagestan have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation. The Caucasian Knot maintains a list of names of natives of the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts killed in the military operation. The Khasavyurt administration regularly names its fellow countrymen killed in Ukraine.
