Two soldiers from Dagestan were killed in Ukraine.

Akhmed Alikhanov and Karimudin Ulubiyev from the Kazbekovsky District were killed in combat. Since the beginning of the Russian operation in Ukraine, authorities have officially recognized at least 1,825 Dagestani servicemen killed there.

The opening of so-called "heroes' desks" at the Dylym Gymnasium in the Kazbekovsky District was reported on February 24 by the Telegram channel of the Dagestan regional branch of United Russia.

The desks are dedicated to Akhmed Alikhanov and Karimudin Ulubiyev. The party press service's statement did not provide the ages or biographical details of the killed soldiers.

Thus, at least 1,825 fighters from Dagestan have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation.
