Sources reported the arrest of the former vice-governor of Kuban.

Security forces are conducting an investigation into former Kuban Deputy Governor Anna Minkova, law enforcement sources reported.

As reported by "Kavkazsky Uzel," on January 20, it was reported that security forces conducted searches at the home of Maxim Bondarenko, head of the Primorsko-Akhtarsky District.

Anna Minkova has been detained on suspicion of committing corruption crimes, TASS reported today, citing sources in Kuban law enforcement.

According to the agency, law enforcement officials are conducting investigative actions involving Minkova. On January 20, it was reported that Minkova is being investigated for possible involvement in illegal enrichment using public funds. This enrichment may be connected to a clinic building in Krasnodar, which, according to preliminary data, was previously owned by the Minkova family. The premises were leased for use as a clinic, and the rent was paid from the budget.

A RIA Novosti source in law enforcement also reported Minkova's detention. "She was detained on suspicion of healthcare fraud," the agency quoted him as saying today.

The former official was detained by officers from the regional FSB department, and is undergoing "investigative actions," a source familiar with the situation told 93.ru.

Anna Minkova herself has not posted on her personal Telegram channel (5,120 subscribers) today. On October 27, 2025, she announced her resignation as vice governor.

"As of today, I no longer hold the post of vice governor. I made this decision myself, dictated by my personal convictions. The past ten years have been significant for the region's social sphere, with many challenges along the way. I want to thank the ministers and the entire team for their fruitful work and the outstanding results we have achieved," she wrote.
