Villagers in Ingushetia complained about the road's condition.

Residents of the village of Verkhniye Achaluki in the Malgobek District have described the road conditions on Sheripova Street as catastrophic. Numerous appeals to the administration have been unsuccessful.

The villagers recorded a video appeal calling for attention to a pressing issue that has significantly complicated their daily lives for many years. The issue concerns the road conditions on Sheripova Street.

The video of the complaint was published by The Magas Times Telegram channel, which has over 11,000 subscribers. By 7:00 PM Moscow time, the post had garnered more than 800 views.

Village residents reported that after every rain, the street turns into an impassable swamp: liquid mud, deep puddles, and a complete lack of paved surfaces make movement virtually impossible. During such periods, residents are effectively isolated.

Children are especially hard hit. About 90 families live on Sheripova Street, and for many schoolchildren, the journey to school becomes a daily ordeal. The lack of sidewalks or even basic pedestrian paths poses a safety threat and puts children's health and lives at risk.

"We watch with pain as they are forced to traverse mud and puddles for the opportunity to get an education and build their future," the villagers write.

Residents have repeatedly appealed to the Malgobek administration, but the situation, they say, remains unchanged. "Our requests remain unanswered, and the road condition on Sheripov Street continues to deteriorate," the residents said. They did not specify why they appealed to the city administration rather than the Malgobek District administration.

The Malgobek District administration responded to the villagers' appeal on social media this afternoon. "The signal has not gone unnoticed – the issue has been taken under the personal control of the head of the district, Abdulhamid Kostoyev. At the head's direction, once favorable weather conditions are established, work will be carried out on the street to construct a sand and gravel road," according to a post on the municipality's official Telegram channel.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that residents of Ozdoyev Street in the village of Plievo in the Nazran District are deprived of access to utilities, and authorities are ignoring their requests for assistance. The Investigative Committee of Ingushetia has launched a pre-investigation investigation.
