Residents of a village in Stavropol demanded that the head of the territorial department be replaced.

From December 30, when severe weather damaged the power line, until January 4, residents of the village of Temizhbeksky were left without power and water.

Villages from the Novoanninsky Municipal District in Stavropol Krai recorded a video message complaining about the inaction of local officials. According to the authors, the head of the territorial administration department is indifferent to the residents' problems.

The village hospital, kindergarten, and school operated independently. The head of the territorial department failed to organize warming stations at these institutions for the elderly, large families, and those in dire straits, freezing in their homes, the publication "Bloknot Stavropol" reported today.

People are also complaining that water was not supplied to Temizhbeksky. "We went and melted snow. This is simply survival, a mockery of people," the crowd complained.

According to the villagers, the safety of drinking such water was a major question, but they had no choice. Massive requests to improve the water supply were ignored. Roads were not cleared in a timely manner, paralyzing the work of water trucks. The administration, particularly the head of the territorial department, did not even try to support residents in these difficult conditions.

"This person has proven herself ineffective, incompetent, and indifferent to the residents' problems. She doesn't care about the people," the villagers note, demanding the dismissal of the head of the territorial department of the Novoaleksandrovsky Municipal District Administration.

Residents of Temizhbeksky also reported that due to the lack of electricity, not everyone had the opportunity to charge their phones. Many were left without service during the New Year holidays. "Children are calling their parents to wish them a happy holiday, but we have no connection," the crowd complained.

"We ask that the head of the territorial department be dismissed," the residents concluded.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that residents of a building in Stavropol called on the governor to address a roof leak. During a major renovation, the contractor removed the roof covering over all the entrances at once, without regard for the season or weather conditions.
