The authorities' excuses for the failure to remove garbage have left Caspian residents perplexed.

A Kaspiysk administration representative stated that waste removal is delayed due to the condition of the landfill and the road. Social media users stated that the road was in this condition before, demanding that the authorities organize solid municipal waste removal and provide a sufficient number of containers.

The Kaspiysk residents' appeal was published by golos.dagestan_ on their Instagram page*, which has over 368,000 followers. By 11:00 PM Moscow time, the appeal had garnered 148 likes and 26 comments.

"I ask you to pay attention to this truly serious problem! City services and the Kaspiysk administration are completely unresponsive to citizens' inquiries; they simply don't answer calls!" the appeal states.

Acting Deputy Head of Kaspiysk for Housing and Public Utilities Ramazan Khalilov commented on the situation with solid municipal waste removal in Kaspiysk.

"The main reason for the delays in solid municipal waste removal in Kaspiysk was the condition of the landfill and the difficult access road to it. The significant time spent transporting and unloading the waste negatively impacted the city's cleanup schedule. Currently, about 30 units of specialized equipment are deployed daily, including vehicles provided by philanthropists.
