Residents of Adygea called for the speedy restoration of heating and electricity.

In the Maykop district, 17 shelters have opened for people whose homes are without heat. Local residents complained of prolonged power, heat, and water outages and called on authorities to address the problem.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," by the evening of January 3, about 6,000 people remained without power in the Giaginsky district, the same number in the Shovgenovsky district, and about 4,000 in the Koshekhablsky district, according to Adygea Governor Murat Kumpilov. In Maykop, assistance is being provided to the elderly and those with limited mobility, specifically by transporting them to relatives or temporary shelters with overnight accommodations and three meals a day, the mayor reported. Telegram users reported that some settlements in Adygea have been without power since December 30.

In the Maykop district, 17 warming points are operating "for citizens whose heating is not functioning," Mikhail Maryin, head of the district, announced late in the evening on January 3 in his Telegram channel. "They are organized on the premises of educational institutions and rural cultural centers," he explained.

The area continues to clear roads and streets after heavy snowfall, the official added. "Utility and road services are working in an enhanced mode, with equipment deployed in all populated areas. I am calling on district residents, business leaders, and entrepreneurs. I ask everyone who can to join in clearing snow, especially near stores, businesses, offices, and other socially significant facilities," the post states.

As of 9:00 AM Moscow time, seven comments, left last night and this morning, have been posted under the posts. Commenters asked the authorities for help.

"There's no power on Kamennomostsky and Gagarin," Marina_YD complained. "The electricians are working to restore the power supply," Mikhail Maryin replied.

"The village of Natyrbovo, Koshekhablsky District, has been without power and heat for five days now. No one's even setting up a warming station," € wrote.

"What about street clearing? There's only one tractor in the entire Tulskaya area, and even that's not working? Is it that hard to get a tractor from the DSU? Or can't you come to an agreement?" – Dmitry Baryshnikov inquired.

"My house in the Krasnorechye gardening community in Gaverdovsky has been without heat, electricity, hot meals, or tea since December 30th. The community is not connected to gas, and there is no central heating, water supply, or sewerage.
