A soldier from South Ossetia was killed in Ukraine.

Marik Demeyev, killed in the special military operation zone, was buried in South Ossetia. At least 35 fighters from South Ossetia have been killed since the beginning of the operation in Ukraine.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," Soslan Kozayev, killed in the SVO zone, was buried in Tskhinvali on November 22. At least 34 South Ossetian fighters have been killed since the beginning of the operation in Ukraine.

On November 30, the funeral of South Ossetian resident Marik Demeyev (call sign "Zeppa"), who was killed in the zone of a special military operation, was held, according to the state news agency "Res."

Demeyev was 29 years old and left behind a wife and two children. He had been missing since July, and his body was only recently recovered.

At the funeral were South Ossetian President Alan Gagloyev, Russian Ambassador to South Ossetia Marat Kulakhmetov, and other officials. By decree of the republic's president, Demeyev was awarded the "Defender of the Fatherland" medal.

Thus, at least 35 fighters from South Ossetia have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation.
