Student from Adygea fined for discrediting Russian Army

A court in Maykop has fined a student by 30,000 roubles for her comments in a social network "about the negative nature of using the Russian Armed Forces" during the special military operation (SMO) in Ukraine.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 22, it became known that a protocol on discrediting the Russian Army was drawn up against Polina Nikulina, a resident of Adygea.

According to investigators, on December 22, 2023, a student at the Adygea State University posted in the "VKontakte" social network "comments containing signs of belief about the negative nature of the use of the Russian Armed Forces during the SMO." The girl has admitted her guilt and repented.
