Mother of schoolboy beaten by Volgograd law enforcers demands to transfer case to Moscow

The 14-year-old schoolboy who was beaten up by Volgograd policemen was recognized as a victim. According to the family's advocate, there were many controversial and strange points in the case.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that two policemen are suspected of using violence when detaining a young man in Volgograd, whom they mistook for a drug dealer. According to investigators, on August 2, he began running away from law enforcers, who were in civilian clothes, but they managed to detain him by using special means. The victim's mother has informed that he had undergone a surgery.

According to the family's advocate, they have appealed to the Central Office of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) asking to transfer the case to Moscow investigators, the V1.RU has reported.
