In the 4nd quarter of 2019, six persons fell victim to armed conflict in Northern Caucasus

In the fourth quarter of 2019, at least six persons fell victim to the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus. Of them, two persons were killed, and at least four others were wounded. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.

The death toll included a person who was involved, according to the law enforcement bodies, in activities of illegal armed formations (IAFs), and a law enforcer.

The number of the wounded persons included three law enforcers and a suspected militant.

In the fourth quarter of 2019, in Ingushetia, six persons suffered in the armed conflict. As a result of an attack on a road-and-patrol service (known as DPS) checkpoint, one law enforcer and one suspected member of an IAF were killed, while four others, including three law enforcers and one suspected militant, were wounded.

In the fourth quarter of 2019, in Dagestan, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia, the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, the Stavropol Territory, and Chechnya, no victims to the armed conflict were registered.
