Social network users recall shocking videos of Malika Djikaeva detained in Chechnya

Malika Djikaeva, a blogger from North Ossetia, well-known for her provocative videos in hijabs, was arrested in Chechnya in a case on drug possession, sources reported. Some social network users wrote they were glad to learn such news and thereby caused reproaches from their opponents for unethical behaviour.

Judging by the posts, Malika Djikaeva's account on Instagram is now being maintained by her sister. She reports that the blogger is suspected of marijuana possession.

Malika Djikaeva is suspected of drug trafficking, a source from the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) reports.

In their comments left on Instagram, many users suggested to impose on Malika Djikaeva the punishment, not provided for by the Russian laws.

"They did the right thing. She dishonoured all women," user elzasanova expressed her opinion.

Other participants of the discussion on Instagram criticized authors of the critical comments. "The comments are terrible. How the earth carries such evil people! God forgive you," wrote, in particular, user milaska7709.

Earlier, Caucasian experts have noted that videos shot by Malika Djikaeva can be painfully perceived by Muslims, but still contain no direct abuse of Islam.
